A name that’s a nod back to our heritage
Easy drinking, fruity wines that are perfect for everyday enjoyment.
Over 165 years ago, Henry Lindeman produced his first bottles of wine. To mark this momentous occasion he named the range after the family homestead, “Cawarra”, located in Gresford, New South Wales. The word "Cawarra" means "beside running water" in Aboriginal, the perfect description of the home he built all those years ago. Today you can still find a golden sketch of Henry Lindeman’s home on the Cawarra label - we thought we’d keep it so no one would forget.
