Around the year 1890, the Lindeman family bought the ‘Porphyry’ (one of Australia’s first vineyards!) planted in 1838 in the Hunter Valley. Although the vineyard ceased to exist long ago, its name has been preserved by Lindeman’s and is synonymous with sweet and luscious wine offerings.
*Lindeman's Porphyry 750ml NV Blanc and Rouge are at least 25% lighter in alcohol compared to 750ml Lindeman's 2010 Bin 65 Chardonnay and 2009 Bin 50 Shiraz respectively.
