Henry Lindeman himself planted his first vines in the Hunter Valley in 1843. Over 165 years later we can reflect on what remarkable foresight our founder possessed. This region’s rich volcanic soils give our wines a distinct, recognisable character - so much so that the Hunter Valley is now one of Australia’s most celebrated wine-producing regions. Today Henry Lindeman’s vision for the Hunter Valley wines lives on thanks to the persistence of our Winemaking team and their understanding of this region. Henry Lindeman was a very hard act to follow but we are confident he would approve of how we have crafted these wines.
